At Noya British School, we are committed to strong and effective governance to ensure the highest standards of leadership, accountability and educational excellence.

Our governance structure aligns with Aldar Education’s framework and operates through a Strategic Governance Group (SGG). The SGG provides strategic advice, support and challenge to the school’s leadership team, ensuring the continued success of our students and strong alignment to our core vision, values and priorities.

The SGG:

  • Oversees and supports delivery of the school’s strategic aims
  • Monitors academic standards, safeguarding and student wellbeing
  • Ensures high-quality educational provision and continuous improvement
  • Promotes stakeholder voice and community partnership
  • Upholds the school’s alignment with Aldar Education expectations

The group includes skilled and experienced members from a range of professional backgrounds, including Aldar Education representation, school leaders, parent and community governors and subject specialists. Together, they bring valuable insight and accountability for school performance and standards.

The SGG meets at least three times each year and operates through specific sub-committees, including:

  • Health & Safety, Operations & Sustainability
  • Pastoral & Safeguarding
  • Academic, Curriculum, Innovation and Industry
  • National Identity, Community and MOE
